One way to kill your batteries it will draw around 90 amps, OK if you have a bank of 4 or more batteries even then I wouldn't risk it.Kampa do a 1kw 1 litre cordless ekectric kettle in different colours.
I've just ordered one to run off my invertor.

Seen a few that low in France..
It is not the overall drain on the batteries but the high load that damages them.This is the one we use, off the inverter. 1000watt and 1.2 litres. Only on for a few minutes doesn't drain the batteries, especially in this sun.
I have their electric fan heater - also very good.We have the kampa one,, Good bit of kit
