- 30 years of old conversions and caravans- 5 minutes in this posh one!
Just joined today. We've had old style vans over the last 30 years (a '76 Danbury Hiace) and a Tischer demountable but never a modern coach built. I have already managed to leave the small side locker not fully closed so it flew open on the road.
We are finding the '05 Euramobil Activa really fun and easy to drive, it's the older 2.8 JTD engine on a Ducato. The double floor is great and we were impressed with how well it goes, only loosing out on the longest hills. Mrs Euramobilly drove it the 100 miles home because she isn't insured for my VW and despite being nervous at the thought of 'driving anything that big' took to it like a duck to water! In fact I couldn't get a look in! She reversed it down our long narrow access lane in one go and squeezed it on to the drive with ease. How am I going to get if off her!!
We are thinking about a few weeks trip to the South of France in May
