'Attempts to build a multicultural society in Germany have "utterly failed", Chancellor Angela Merkle says.

She said the so-called "multikulti" concept - where people would "live side-by-side" happily - did not work, and immigrants needed to do more to integrate - including learning German.

The comments come amid rising anti-immigration feeling in Germany.'

Tbh I don't think integration will properly happen until the immigrants accept that they are in a different country and that they have to adapt to that countries way of life. they don't have to give up their roots but need to accept they have to change. ..still not happening in America where the American negro has still not accepted that he /she was even born in America and are still living in the past ,so see no hope that integration in any part of the world is going to happen in the near future. When I think of my home town of Manchester...... Clumps everywhere. The oldest possibly the Jewish area around Chetham Hill. Moss Side black. Centre Chinatown. Longsight asian. The Curry Mile. And so on. Birds of a feather. We even have an east European quarter now.

Different peoples. Former enemies. Former slaves.

Long memories.

Where did you get that idea from If Angela Merkel was a United States politician, where would she fall on the Democrat-Republican spectrum?

In her teens/youth the Frau was a member of "Commasol" (sp?)
Which was the "Hitler Youth" type organization of the Communist Party

I don't live abroad so I couldn't say if what you state is correct or not..and in fact not really bothered about any other countries integration problems we have enough in Britain to contend with,however I do realise that there issues world wide with the culture and integration..

The Nazi's were Nationalist Socialists - part of N a z i translates as such. .

"Hitler Youth" as you can see by the punctuation, is used as a comparision/example, of, a like youth organization.
The Kommasol (sp?) dressed in a uniform as such, they were indoctrinated with the mantra of Communism, worshiped what ever bastard that was in charge, and as adults given full Party Membership. All in all the same as Hitler Youth.


The NAZIs actually started as a "Workers Party"

I could hardly compare them to the Scouts could I?
