Lots of them around here. I saw one really low in the middle of the village the other day. Not much higher than rooftop level. Lovely birds.

Quite possible you did see a Red Kite Bill, they are spreading out allover now and very obvious with their colouring and concave tail.(y)

plenty here to at Corby (re-introduced a few years ago and they have well and truly established themselves). I love watching the younger one's play, their flying skills are amazing.
Did you know they are much bigger than the Common Buzzard !

How lovely, I saw one for the first time above a friend's house in West Wales, have seen them now above our house. They have a sort of whistling call.

Visit Gigrin farm Rhayader in wales , fabulous show as they feed the red kites ,buzzards etc daily with a trailer load of meat each day !
