Linear motors have been used to propel 'floating' trains on rails
...
If electricity can be used to create a magnet and then rotation, or linear motion, is it not possible to reverse the process and use a large permanent magnet and rotation to produce electricity?
...
Never thought of that, never was was much good with that elektrikryIf you invent a machine using rotation and magnetism to create electricity, you have invented a common or garden generator.
You have just started another bloody genny thread.
Shame on you!

Just another brainwave since reinventing the generator, what if..........one large permanent magnet or magnets in series (like a turbine) is used to create rotation in a shaft that is coupled to a generator to create electricity. The initial starting turn of the shaft could be to overcome static resistance.
Could that work? Not perpetual motion as presumably the magnetism of the driving magnet(s) would diminish, just a thought![]()
It all requires an input of energy from somewhere![]()
With a little input of energy, we WILL get a smaller amount of energy output.Ahah. So with a little input of energy, we COULD get a large amount of energy output. Sounds like a plan.
god now i know why your specialOscilating central fugal magnets...![]()
god now i know why your special
I remember years ago about someone who had made an engine that was able to run on water. They soon stopped that one. How could they tax water. Think about it.
there was a big market for vw beetles using that system .in the states , must have been about 30 yrs ago.I remember years ago about someone who had made an engine that was able to run on water. They soon stopped that one. How could they tax water. Think about it.
It is. But something has to move the magnet .............................Electromagnets use electricity to create large magnetic fields which can then be used for all sorts of things, a basic electric motor for one.Linear motors have been used to propel 'floating' trains on rails, I think they may still be in use on some of the Japanese high speed trains.
