Just saw this advertised in aldi on thurs 26th march garmin 7"camper 760lmt-d checked it out on utube (thurgo ltd) seems very impressive £199.99, prices on the internet vary from £274-£374, includes life time map up dates, any one contemplating a new sat nav should consider this one

I'm an Aldi virgin. Can you order online or just purchase in store?

That price £199 is great value mt snooper cost £499 last year!
Does the garmin take the height, length and weight of the motorhome ?

I have had the 560 LMT truck satnav for about 18 months and it is an excellent device (slightly smaller screen than the 760 but still bigger than most car versions). However, before buying the 560 or 760 at a discounted price, Funsters might like to consider that Garmin have recently launched the 570 and 770 updated versions. I don't know how long lifetime updates will continue on the 560/760 although they are still listed models on Garmin's website. I have just been notified that there is a new map update for mine (note to self - download it tonight).

I'm a bit gutted.. We bought the 760mltd a month ago for £280...
Really like the unit.. Has some nice touches.. Only used it to go to Scotland yet tho..
Lots of info on here and online that give good reviews

Can anyone tell me if its possible to input your destination via longtitude and latitude please? We tend to use this method quite a lot when travelling in Europe to find our way to the next aire we want to visit.

On Garmin satnav yes!, and you get a choice of three formats for the co-ordinates

thank you . will have to look at my bank balance.

No mention of speed camera's guess this must be an "extra". Our local store still has this Garmin in stock and I'm very tempted.

Speed cameras are an extra, all Europe including UK £25 per annum extra. (check for some of the smaller eastern exclusions if you are really adventurous). Speed cameras take account of French and other bans on camera locations by having safety zones.

My 560 LMT has speed cameras on it - as delivered when I bought it in 2013. There is a charge to keep it updated though.

Now been reduced to £179.99 in my store, not sure if this a local reduction or nationwide.
Half a mind to take my £199.99 unit back for a refund and buy again with a £20 saving....'tis a Scottish thing!

Will check our local store tomorrow when in town, thanks for the heads up "jack in a box" :0)

570 looks interesting, you can add a wireless rearview camera as well and switch between screens.. Sounds fine if it works! :)

Camera is a BC 20 aprox £110
