When you drive down from Madrid to Granada the motorway has a few large tarmac areas set aide for what we presume to be snow related events, the signs have been changed to show a snow flake symbol

Couldn't really believe they would be needed, see why they are there now

Madrid is situated on what's known as the Mesa ie table - which not surprisingly sticks up from the surrounding land and is flat on top.

It's got HIGH legs !
