A years worth of research and it's now come to this!

In the process of getting a final price from Pullingers now, fully spec'd to how I want it with all the bells and whistles, and get ready to find the deposit to put an order in at Easter for delivery on retirement:xThumb:

I know it's early - but want to have everything sorted and snagged and ready to go so the more notice they get the better - and will honour the price on ordering:D

Congratulations :xThumb:

Good vans and Pullingers have a good reputation. :xsmile:

Hi Dave

Good looking van, decent kitchen area, Dethleffs always look like they need a couple more inches ground clearance especially at the front.
Soon use that payload up?.

cracking looking bit of kit ! :xThumb:

Nice one :xThumb:

that makes much better reading on a Sunday morning than reviewing my last thread :)

I used to have three of those but swopped the three for my 1987 Hymer 660S.

(I hope you enjoy your times in your motorhome at least as half as much as you will dreaming of delivery day.)

Such as? Interested as I also like the brand, but cant stretch to the OP's choice! :(

Just a word of caution because top price does not avoid Friday afternoon production. A good more to get it early and give it some stick before riding off into the distance.

First hand, Morocco 2009, couple from Leeds, brand new Dethleths on 3l FIAT. First they were given a ODB2 box to keep resetting the engine warning light, problem not found before they had to leave. Second they did a good few miles holding the main bed up with their arms because the fixing fell apart. Third they got bogged down more than once and needed a tow because the combination of FWD and 3l automatic created wheelspin not traction.

Somewhere on here, if my memory is working, where is a new Dethleths owner who had something like a re-wire done.

Not even the Germans are infallible it seems.. (( But I still like their kit ))

well done= congrats
just be sure that there is an agreed delivery date -lots of folks on here have had protracted delivery dates once the order was in place-maybe some form of penalty for late delivery should be discussed:)
