What' make is the inverter and can you photo the connection from the inverter?
I removed my Renogy remote switch and just installed a standard on off switch which matches the original switches and sockets. The remote switch is usually really low voltage and I just added an earth so an LED in the switch shows when it's on or off.
The socket to connect in to for the Renogy inverters is an RJ16 (I think) which is the same as a telephone cable, you just need to identify which two wires switch it on.
It's NOT RJ16 on your inverter it's RJ45 ... It's RJ16 in the 3000W inverter charger ....
