Or failing off stepsI dislocated my shoulder once and I found it most painful when sleeping. The pain would wake me up in the early hours each morning.
The doctor said when I was lying down fluid would gather in the joint and make it swell up. The answer was to sleep propped up on pillows so the fluid would drain away from the joint. It took a couple of weeks for the pain to go but no problems with it now and I learned a valuable lesson - don't go skiing.
Don't worry jock won't be picking up spaner for fee week's bud Ben warned by the biggest pysio nurse you have ever seen in my lifeMorning Bill.
Glad to see that you are on the mend but I just can't help feeling that you'll do too much when you do get discharged, and undo all the good work by the surgeon and nursing staff.
I do hope I am wrong pal.
Take care,
Jock.

no no I have never Ben off the road that long I will have forgotten how to do it by thenWhen I tore my shoulder Bill it was 6 weeks before I could drive and 12 weeks before the hospital said I was fit to ride my motorbike again.
John.
haven't Ben told by the doctors to inform my insurance company.Don't want to pour petrol on your fire Bill but my son (just) broke his thumb 2 months ago and was told not to drive and to inform his insurance company.
Nothing in writing though so he gave it a week or so (didn't tell the insurance company anyway) and started driving when he felt safe...........
Insurance companies will look for any reason to avoid paying claims............
