Whilst insuring my van yesterday the lad gave me the price with a 180€ excess. I said it was low & could increase it.
He then explained to me, using his mobile phone as a vehicle, that in Here in spain there isn't one excess but an excess for each part of the vehicle damaged. i.e
front ,back, each side, roof & underside.
That explains to me why when you do online quotes you end up with a sky high price for full comp "without excess" & a lower price for full comp"with an excess"
