Driving along Slapton Line today I noticed the height barrier is now closed on the Memorial (middle) car park and both Strete Gate and Torcross car parks have No Motorhome signs.
Sadly South Hams DC don’t won’t us to enjoy this AONB, SSSI which is strange as they did consider allocating overnight parking on 2 of those sites.
With Easter approaching I thought this may save disappointment to anyone thinking of coming to Torcross.
If any of the other car parks locally have new signage I’ll try an update this thread.

We lived in S Devon for decades. They want your money but not you. To be fair the area is a nightmare to drive around in a car, let alone a Moho.
We toured around last year in our toad whilst camping at Brixham and can understand how the whole area has not moved on since horses and carts
Still, a beautiful area and worth the effort around the Dartmouth area.

It's not just the West Country, in Scotland we found height barriers blocking most car parks on the east coast north of Dunbar towards Edinburgh and west coast north of Culzean towards Greenock. It reminded me why we prefer taking our motorhome to mainland Europe.......
