Good morning
We are thinking of going on a 2 week tour of Yorkshire and Northumberland in June next year.
We want to go up the East Coast of Yorkshire. Then up to Berwick and then follow the Northumberland 250 route.
If anybody has any campsite recommendations and places to visit I would be very grateful.
Happy travels
John

Its lovely. There can be sea frets in June but that's just down to chance. Whitby's and Robin hoods bay are great and then alnwick and berwick. Worth a visit to Newcastle as well. Nice camp site in bamburgh

There are carparks in Skipton, Settle and Ingleton owned by Craven district council that have motorhome overnight stay places.
It depends what you want to do. Walking, climbing, caving, fishing etc. Do you stay on campsites do you want pub stops or wild camping suggestions?
We have coast, moors, mountains, caves, Dales, historical cities like York. Steam railways, North Yorkshire moors railway, Keighley and worth valley railway. Literary history the Bronte sisters in Haworth. Rivers, canals.
It all depends on what you like to do.

If you are a member of any of the clubs, watch out for rallies 'up north' when you are travelling. This is a regular rally venue in Seaburn, Sunderland. A short distance from the A19 if using the Tyne Tunnel and pretty convenient. The building on the right is a supermarket, buses all stop at the supermarket, so getting around is easy and cycle lanes along the front.

What are your plans site wise?

Club sites, cl/c's, private sites, field with no services or wild camp?

I'm South Northumberland based and can give you a few pointers

We enjoyed staying on the CL at Haining Head Farm on a hill above Bellingham.

Thanks very much for your help and advice. We normally stay at Club Sites. But will like to stay at more CL's. Not tried wild camping yet.
We like to walk from the sites we stay at. This will be with Archie our Blind Cockerpoo. We are looking forward to walking along the shore and also the countryside.
