Lots but slow learner.
Want to do 4 nights in the MoHo week after next.
Yorkshire Dales sounds right. I go regularly on my motorbike.

As we are not fussed about walking into the town/village we would prefer a site that has a good pub/restaurant on site and nice walks around.
Of course the pub/restaurant must be spacious so we can keep well away from others. At most we would use it twice.
AND the site must have EHU

Anybody know of such a site???

There is a cl with hard standing and ehu at bedale and only a short walk into town. Leyburn has a big site , and a couple of cl sites heading out of town towards Richmond. The little white bus runs through them both so if you want to travel for a drink for lunch etc it would save driving.

Not the Dales as such. But, Fox and Rabbit on the road from Pickering to Goathland. has a 5 van C-L with EHU`s and Hardstand. Big Gastro pub . Think its CC?.

Will have a look. Don't want to do any driving once set up. Don't want buses as other people might be on 🤭

TanHill £10 a night with EH and a pub within falling distance back to the van.
Had a look. It say's no hook at the mo. Looks very rufty tufty for us. We are old, soft and like our creature comforts as much as poss. Thanks for the tip anyway. Will will deffo call in for drink and grub.

Have a look at Aysgarth Falls Hotel and Campsite. Stayed there last year and food was very good.
Also Scar Close CL Hudswell. Pub just up the road and you can walk to Richmond if you want.

You used to have to take your own rubbish etc away with you when leaving.

The last (and only) 4 sites we have been on since buying the van have all been Premier Sites or better??? I suppose we have been spoilt already. We do like the sites that are fully serviced and have "stuff" on site.
Last week in Devon it was £30 a night but in our eyes well worth it and we didn't mind at all.
Thank's all for above suggestions.
Scar Close looking better.

C&MC site at threshfield (wharfedale) from memory pub on site and can walk to Thresfield or further into Grassington.

Skipton main car park, no EHU but loads of pubs and eateries, plus the famous Pie Shop near the Castle.

Just back from C&MC site at Wharfedale sounds ideal for your trip, Grassington about 20 mins walk away, spar and pub in Threshfield, lots of walks to avoid the barmpots.

These CC, CCC, C&MC (and others) does one have to be a member of "The Club" to gain access to these sites.
I looked at one site (can't remember where) it said members only??????

Most sites no but if a site says members only ... that's what it means.

They don't have Barmpots in Yorkshire.
Unless they're Lancastrians on holiday.

Mostly yes - but quite a few will accept non-members but the site fees are usually higher

You will pay a lot more if not a member of the CMC for sure, and the main sites are expensive to start with.

main sites are expensive to start with.
This is a fallacy... I find the comparable commercial sites invariably more expensive

Eg: Just booked Hawes CAMC at £19.40/nt
nearby Bainbridge Ings is £22.00/nt

For a fully service pitch i don't think £20 is expensive. Spose we all have different definitions of expensive eh.

My gripe with mainly club sites is having to pay for something I don't need or want.(I am not talking about current situation with facilities etc closed due to Covid).
I prefer not to use leccy so why am I forced to pay for it wether I want it or not.!!!

But that's equally true of commercial sites... tariffs are often price for a couple... plus extra for the dog!
I'd be paying for a non person.

Basically, the price is the price

Yes we are all different I agree, we just stayed in Bedale 5 nights at a CL for a fiver a night, I didn't say because the OP thinks £30 a night of good value. Not knocking anyone, we are all different backgrounds, disposal incomes etc
There's room for everyone which is how it should be
