Hi , thinking of taking my motorhome out for the first time in about 100 years (feels like) thinking of York or Whitby or something and I know this is a little bit last minute but just want to go out for one day tomorrow just for run have checked Rowntree and its booked up any other suggesting would be appreciated thanks.

There is a camping and caravan club temporary holiday site at the rugby club in york and it’s just a pleasant walk down the riverside to the centre

Hi have you to phone and book it or just turn up? thanks

The CCC holiday site at the rugby club is a great location and good value. Had planned to go but surgery call up is more important.
If your a member check with the club, its a big siteso would be surprised if you don't get in.

Lovely little CL about 3 miles From the centre with regular buses. It’s says caravans only but does take Motorhome’s as we stayed there 3 weeks ago, no dogs though.

You would save money in the end even if having to pay the joining fee. Although, more than one night would be required. Whitby is a ccc ths site too, but not till Aug. At mo all are expecting people to book due to covid rules.

We stayed at the York ccc ths last weekend, it was a great spot, probably about 90% full, asked about going back next weekend and they said to check first as have had to close some of the site due to wet conditions.
It is a nice quiet site about 30 minutes walk along the river into York.
