Hi. Setting off this coming Thursday, heading South, down through Limoges and then across towards Northern Spain ( Roses) via Carcassonne.
Does anyone, either through recent travels, or who lives in France, got any up to date info on any yellow jacket activity and any potential 'hot spots' to avoid?
Got caught in some protests just south of Le Mans earlier this year and it was not nice and put about 3 hours on the journey!
Thanks.

All quiet round here, seen nothing for weeks.

Haven't seen any around here for weeks, or in other places we've been to in France.

All gone from the Charente, but their 'Handiwork' is still visible.

Nothing seen on our last couple of trips.
The makeshift shelters they built at busy roundabouts have gone.
Some speed cameras are still out of action but others are back online.

No mention in the local Press here in the Lot or further south of anything that's likely to cause a problem for some time now. I'm heading in roughly the same direction as you from near Cahors on Wednesday - I'll let you know if it goes pear-shaped...;)

They are due to begin again but stronger I hear. All you can do is listen to the radio and tv. They had a break for the holiday season, even they need a holiday apparently.

Just came back home and not a single Yellow Wiz in sight, and I went through the area where G7 Summit was taking place, so not to worry.
You can also have a stopover at my place, I'm on your way to Carcassonne. Balma, north eat of Toulouse, and just about 1,8 kms away from the ringroad way out

Travelled north to south then into Spain last week. Not a sign of anything.

Slightly off topic but guess what...

I had no trouble at all fuelling up in Portugal despite all the panic warnings spread on the internet re tanker drivers' strike...

The internet is BRILLIANT but some folk do post a great deal of bollocks on it which leads to a great deal of un-necessary worry to some people.
