My Autosleeper Cotswold has a Ford Puma engine - 2.2 diesel 100hp. I would like to get a hard copy workshop Manual that covers this engine.

I've seen digital versions but I don't like navigating these.

Does anyone know where I can get a manual please. Apart from using these in Ford Puma I think they may also use them in Land Rovers.

Thank you. Just the job. I've just bought one on eBay.

A point to note with this engine, the tube the dipstick goes in can be pulled out of the block and allow the oils to leak out when driving. It did it on mine and luckily I had stopped to go shopping and noticed the oil on the floor. My son had a mini bus with the same engine the tube came out and it cost him an engine.

It makes you wonder why Ford designed an engine where the dipstick tube could be pulled out. Maybe they were glued in. Certainly useful information as I did have an oil leak before the crankshaft pulley failed.

Ford designed an engine where the dipstick tube could be pulled out.
They didn't in the transit. When used in peugeot & citroën they must have used there own dipstick arrangement the same as peugeot use there own gearbox & radiator fan assemblies, turbo arrangement etc.
On the transit at the bottom it has a welded support leg that has a 6mm bolt on to the engine block
