Just spent a few days at the Petts Wood camp site at Woodhall Spa. What a lovely friendly site.
The town is full of history and a pleasure to walk around and has a great fish and chip shop as well.
Great for dogs as there are so many walks.
Everyone we met were so friendly and nice .
Well recommend a visit .

We love Woodhall Spa. We usually stay at Woodhall Country Park. Only disappointment is that the Village Limits pub is not dog friendly as the food is great.

We only found the one pub in the centre of woodhall and that was dog friendly.

We've stopped at Woodhall Spa a couple of times at the Country Park with the bbq forum I'm on for a Tailgate cook off and had the Canadian Lancaster fly over a couple of years back. The "Kinema in the Woods" is worth a visit, up to date films, and the organist comes up through the floor in the intermission and does a medley of oldies and modern pop !

We love Woodhall Spa. Petwood is a superb site. The Country Park site was good, but it seems to have gone downhill fast, and seems to now be focusing more on lodges and neglecting the touring side.
Zucci is an excellent Italian/Turkish restaurant. great food and always busy.

A nice low-key, often overlooked, part of the world. We eshewed the big sites and stayed at a small CS/CL, whose name unfortunately escapes me, for a very small fee. There is a great traffic-free cycle route nearby that is suitable for even the most nervous and unfit of cyclists (with a sit-down fish and chip shop en route when we rode it!).
