Does anyone have a wiring diagram I’m trying to work out how to wire a dual solar charger ie hab battery and vehicle battery any help would greatly appreciated

There is more than way to connect to solar
1 Direct from controller to batteries using at least 6mm cable for low voltage losses.
2 Controller hab battery to -B2 +B2 Controller van battery to +B1 (as cbe300 ) depends on quality of van wiring effectively same as 1.
3 is there anything in the manual that indicates that the display gives any useful info on a solar connection , that implies connection 38 OUT could/should be connected to hab lesuire battery and -B2 32. Van +B1
Sorry i couldn't find any helpful info on your module.


Mine is a cbe300 with solar connected as 1 (initially as dealer fitted, micky mouse wiring) rewired with 6mm cable and Votronics controller.

Katies-travels , maybe not related but, we have a DS470 box in our Frankia, mains charging is handled by 2 x CB-522 units, engine leisure battery charging is via the DS470 and solar via a CBE PRS300 unit the control panel is a CBE PC380 this does provide details on the solar charging etc...

From your original post do you have manual for the DS470?

Hi the rest of this page showing all wiring connections for the DS470-RA would be very useful. Do you have it please. I too am installing solar panels.

Most things about CBE DS470 CS/da/ea are kept a close secret by the manufacturer so no one can repair the crap that they produce with inbuilt faults
