I’ve got Michelin Agilis 235/65 R16 on my Chausson on Ford chassis and was planning on getting a set of M+S tyres for winter use.

Any recommendations of van tyres that do the job well?

Personally for the van I plan togo for the four season type with the snow flake marking when it's time to replace
We do have winter tyres on the car and they are the dogs dangly bits but don't get enough winter use of the van to justify having two sets of tyres for it

I like rubber ones, much softer ride! :giggle: ;)

The M & S symbol is no longer valid for some European countries - you need the 3 peaks Alpine symbol

As suggested above, all season tyres, with appropriate symbol, are my favoured tyres

I used the EU tyre ratings for Grip, Noise & Economy when making my tyre choice and went for General Eurovan AS 365

Had them over 2 years now and am very happy with my choice

Wear rate does not seem any different to normal tyres.....

Depends a little on where you want to go in winter. I believe the snowflake symbol is not recognised in France and Germany, so you might want to go with a three peaks rated tyre, if you want to do any winter continental touring!

A tyre expert I know who was a Kiki Fit Manager recommends Nexen winter tyres as a med quality tyre £56 each for my van. Considering that they will only need to be on the van for 3 months of the year it’s enough to pay
