Sadly having just returned from Souther Spain we now need to store our motorhome for the winter. We have space outside our house but wondered if we should buy a motorhome cover for protection . Any other tips on winter storage etc it would be appreciated.

You don't need a cover.Drain down all water.Empty cupboards of dry foods so not to attract mice. Leave cupboards open to let air circulate. No need for heating to be put on.Leave fridge door open a bit so it doesn't smell.I leave mine hooked up at home to electric to keep batteries charged.I put internal silver screens on to keep sun out from fading seats etc.Ive done this from having van New in 2004.Never had any problems.I leave the handbrake off with van in gear and all wheels chocked.
