Winter planning south Italy ? (1 Viewer)

It appears that most of southern Spain and Portugal are packed with sun followers in the winter . Has anyone any experience of southern Italy at this time of year, places to stay and comments welcome . Also what other destinations (Europe) would u recommend

Italy is very closed before Easter / April, if you are site users then you may struggle to find anything open, if you are set up for days off grid then you should be fine....

Fed up with the crowds and ever-increasing restrictions I've been looking at Sicily. It seems to have better weather and better camping options.

I'm just going by couple of threads I've looked at, not done any in-depth investigation yet.
