I’ve did similar in ours a couple of years ago.

Can I suggest you wrap it with the silver tape you can buy or gaffer tape.
It helps to stop the foam falling apart

Just a word of warning, i think it was Selotex that was fitted to the Grenfell Tower, best check!

There are many types of celotex insulation where I worked they stuck it to plasterboard but we used about 5 different types dependant on customer order

And it's better than Celotex as it enables the ferrets to see out.
