Very nice

Didn't they used to do a model on a VW T5 base?

Do they do them on a t6???

Not a fan of the all white interior. But I do have 2 questions.
How have they blended the hab to the cab so well. Is the out skin of the windscreen post now part of the hab or have they just very precisely joined, filled, sanded and painted the hab to the cab. Or am I way out. That looks really nice, much better than the ugly seams on most others.

second question. what is the little box to the left of the door, the one with the key hanging out.

Thanks.

Looks great Simon, wish you luck with them and the coachman’s.
When are you going to get Carthago, I’ve started saving up for a liner for two😉🤣🤣

So they have to build the furniture inside rather than before the body, but what about the pipework and electrics?
No idea. I was only interested in the clean body lines. Never seen that before and thought it was pretty neat.

second question. what is the little box to the left of the door, the one with the key hanging out.

Thanks.
I’m intrigued to. Possibly the fill point for underslung lpg?

Great news. If there were not so expensive (for a reason...I know) I would be down for a quote.

They look really good and I like the monocoque design. Haven‘t seen the prices yet (watched the videos etc but prices not mentioned).

But the one thing that struck me, although I accept I may be wrong as I don’t have the full details, is that they still don’t seem to build in features at production that would be really useful and which would be cheaper if built into the production. These items include:
Deadlocking secure door locks
Solar panels
Lithium batteries with associated gear (b2b charger, mppt solar charger etc)
Refillable gas bottles
Rear and side cameras

It seems from some of the comments that these vans come at a premium price. I’m aware that manufacturers build to a price. As a consumer, I’d rather have secure door locks than dimmable, colour changing LED lighting, solar panels over underfloor heating, etc etc. If I was a manufacturer, looking to enter the motorhome market and seeking to differentiate my product from those already at market, I’d get the basics right at manufacture which I’m convinced as a result of economies of scale, would result in a high standard vehicle being available at a competitive price.

This isn’t a dig at this make of van. It’s just that vans of all makes come out with new models and a lot of them don’t take the opportunity, in my view, to offer what is really needed and desired by owners. 🪖👍

£93k for the twin single bed 7.’metre plus seems a little warm to me , being a German manufacturer of course you only get a basic van. Add another 15£k for extras which should “be standard .
