Windscreen Wipers very slow on all switch settings.

My windscreen wiper has just started going at about half normal speed when using water jet mode. I tried it on the three other settings and it goes the same speed on all of them.

Does anyone have any suggestions what this could be please?

earth problem I would think check earth tags for corrosion

Agreed with Bill.
Sounds like the washer motor is earthing through the wiper motor....or visa versa.

Thanks guys. It is dark now so will look in the morning to see where the motor is.
