Hi all not been on here for a long time. i have a problem with my Peugeot boxer Starblazer 2004. I had a problem with the earth wire from the battery to the chassis witch made all the lights flicker and the van not start i sorted the earth out by putting a new cable on but since then the windscreen wipers and windscreen washers do not work I have looked at the fuses and relays but can not find anything wrong with them it is a bit vague to as witch ones they are also looked at the wires on the stalk and all seem well there. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

The earth strap on the 2004 Ducato ran from the gearbox to the chassis leg.

Have you checked for rodent damage to your wiring ?

only way is to work back with a meter start at the motor and see if theres power there then the switch probably need to find a wiring diagram

No signs of rodent damage.
There is no power at the motor or switch.
Thanks

Google Peugeot fuse box.

On my 57 plate it’s.

Second row from left 3rd one up from bottom is the wiper fuse

I think the 2004 fuse box is the same....

EDIT....seamingly not.

but none appear to be listed as wiper motor

Try fuse 8 in the engine compartment

Can not find a relay for the wipers think it is built into the motor

Thank you i will have a closed look at fuse 8 as it seems to do both washer and wipers.
I will let you know how i get on when im home from work.

“there is no power at the motor or switch”.
So surely it must be the fuse, worth checking again? Maybe it’s a different fuse.

Maybe one of the Funsters who know all about leccie will be along soon to help!

Agreed..... The legend may say fuse 8 but it doesn't mean it actually is.
Use a multimeter set to Ohms, remove each fuse in turn and test for continuity.
A visual check often isn't enough

I will go throw all the fuses tomorrow night

Well I checked all the fuses even some that were hidden and they are all good. Looks like I’m going to have to take it to an auto electrician

Anyone know were I can find the BCM on my 2004 Peugeot boxer

They also have individual earth wires going back to various earthing points under the bonnet on both sides if the same as the Fiat?
