fiat ducato 2005
hi i have a 2005 ducato and the windscreen wipers have stopped working a week after passing its MOT. Checked main fuse OK. Thought I heard a humm coming from it when ignition turned on so thought seized linkage?? took it out. Turns out the pump was making the humm and linkage although slightly stiff and dirty ( I've stripped and cleaned it now) was not seized. Round Two...ding ding...tested power input with multi meter seems 'permanent' with voltage but not getting anything in the other contacts ... checked spring contacts inside still soldered OK. Ran a jump directly off the battery to the motor and motor works fine so thinking problem with switch relay? Windscreen wiper fuse is located in the engine compartment and there are also a number of relays. So which ones the switch relay? any help greatfullyt appreciated.

My van is a 2001 Hymer a class but the relays for wipers would be original Fiat and they are on the bulkhead above the engine.

No sign of relays on the bulkhead with mine but connection seem to lead to the bundle that goes towards either dashbord passenger side fuse box or engine comp. fusebox. Hard to say at he mo as they pass under the large filter box and difficult to see any more suggestions out thgere?>
