I can remember reading quite recently about someone’s wind out awning getting stuck out. I also remember it being suggested that it’s a little plastic cog wearing out?
Well guess what…… I only just managed to get mine back in earlier.
I couldn’t find the thread I read about it in so can someone kindly tell me what bits I need to replace. It’s a Omnistor awning if that makes any difference.

Our Omnistor plastic gearing was replaced at the factory in Menen, for the newer metal gearing. If going across the water, give them a call and get booked in. :)

You can tie it in with a visit to the "very moving" evening ceremony at the Menen Gate, held 365 days a year. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Ok ta. Looks like a new gearbox is required at the pricely sum of around £80! Hey ho. It’s only money. Can’t take it with you.
We weren't charged at the factory for the service and repair......... nor for the new winder handle they supplied, despite my insistence that only the brass tip was required. ;)

Glad to see that you are sorted.

Cheers

Jock. :)
