Worth a read.

We did parts of it a few years back and "out of season".

We didn't have many problems finding places to park for the night on recognised sites, aires or wild but we always made sure to ask before we took the wild option.

Enjoy ......

We did it about 4 years ago, never had a problem except for some of the single track roads on east coast near Dublin, they don't do passing places. WE never used a camp site and did all of the Irish coast from Belfast to Belfast. Lovely place and loads of places to stop for the night.

Be sure you go the right way round at Kilarney peninsular and Dingle Peninsular and also call in at The South Pole haha (google it).

Im doing it from September to November this year. Don't plan to use a campsite

There's a fb page called Total Motorhome Ireland or TMI - you'd probably find it helpful

We are there now.
Like many of the roads in Ireland especially on the west the roads do get narrow just like Scotland.
There's no problems finding overnight stops the whole coast is full of small harbours and pier's .
Park4Night will find you many fabulous spots.
We've been here 20 night's and had at least 15 cracking free overnight stops
