Hi guys at the moment I have a Hawaui unit connected to an outside internet aerial I've always used 3 internet on legs SIM card in the Hawaui unit but recently it's not been so good , does anyone have the EE mobile SIM card and is it any good .

It depends where you are. Vodafone is good in much of Europe and EE has good coverage in the UK. But what works well in one country or location may not work as well somewhere else. I don't think there is a "perfect" SIM.

I just bought this one from Amazon and EE works well for me in most situations.

Hi DBK, I'll just be using it while touring Scotland

I am currently on an EE contract and find it works well. Occasionally i have swapped to lebara which using vodafone and that has equally been as good. We have the aerial built in though and have had signal in most places.

This is a link to discount on lebara

The lebara app is easy to use so if you try that you can cancel really easily if not using it for a month. I got an EE contract to use the data abroad but that is tricky now so may look for a french lebara sim and just purchase data for the months we are away.

I bought a quality but reasonably cheap mobile (mi lite 10t) off of Amazon, mainly to use in conjunction with my Ribble electric bike (satnav, bike controls etc).
However, as a secondary purpose, I have a SIM card for 1p mobile and use the phone as a hub.
It works really well (the phone is 5g compatible if that makes any difference) and all calls in Europe, all texts and 1mb of data is 1p per unit/minute.
Had it a year and only spent about £50 so far (y)(y)

Hi Trout bum,

Maxview have done a lot of testing of different SIM providers, and EE always performs very well, especially in Scotland. Last Summer one of our install partners did some hardware and SIM testing for us while touring Scotland and EE performed best for him by far.

Also, the SIM card Larrynwin posted is good value for money, and I believe the data lasts a full year. I'm not sure what Huawei router you've got, but you may be able to set a tracker to record how much data you've used as well.

1p Mobile use the ee network for their SIM card (which is a PAYG, not a contract).
If you use a lot of data, you can buy a 50GB boost for £15.

I have just noticed the following offer with 1p Mobile:
One year unlimited calls and texts to UK landlines and mobiles plus 100MB of data every month for a one off payment of £36.
That seems like a good deal?
