Lovely picture, great sound, but I have yet another bulky power pack trailing the rear of the set. It would have been so easy...

What voltage does the soundbar take…..?

You are powering it from 240v then, I assume - why not just use a 12v lead, or am I completely wrong…..?;)

I was suggesting a connection from the Avtex Tv to their own sound bar, missing out the need for a 12v lead.

When I get back to Spain I'll split the 12v lead and power both.

That's what I did with ours John, here's a link to the correct plugs to power the Avtex gear that I used.
I made up a new lead rather than bastardise the original leads in case I sell on the TV and soundbar.

I agree. Even if you run it on 12v, you need two leads. They really missed a trick there.

Morning John,
I have the same sound bar and the 11 volt lead plugs I to the rear of the sound bar, much like the TV, but the Sound bar has a round end to it.
As a foot note make sure that the HDMI lead is connected to the ARC input on your TV otherwise it qill not work.
It may be that the 12 volt lead has not been included in your purchase.
You can also use the TV remote to adjust the sound on the sound bar.
I hope this has helped.

Hi
I do have a 19 inch 4 year old avtex tv. I was thinking of upgrading to 24inch avtex smart tv. Is it worth doing. I think this tv has Bluetooth so it should connect to my Bose.?
I will have WiFi soon.Just need to decide what SIM card to use.

Mine came with a 12 v lead, I bought a 2 into 1 12v socket, TV and sound bar goes into that and I plug that into the one 12v socket for the van.

I was going to do that until I found out their smart TV is pretty dumb. I had ordered it and was picking it up from RoadPro, I had read it doesn’t have the usual smart features, Netflix, Amazon Prime etc.. only I player, more tv, catch-up etc. I asked the guy and Road Pro and he said no it does it as everything, I asked him to check it before I would take it and is very words were “ well I can’t believe that, what’s the point in selling that to anyone as a Smart TV.” I kept my older one and bought a Firestick which has all the features a Smart TV has.

Oh
Thanks for that. That’s saved me some money I was almost going to order that.
My son just said get a fire stick. Really appreciate your answer.
Any idea what sim to use for my wifi

Our Avtex soundbar just runs off the lead from a 12v socket so no bulky power packs.

I’m using one from Govivo, it’s a monthly contract with 3 levels of use. Normal use unlimited data in the UK is £25, I’m in Spain at the moment and I changed my tariff before setting off they give you 50gb per month for £35. If you know you are not going to use it for a month or 2 you can park it on a tariff of £3 per month. It’s new to me so I’m testing it out, it’s worked okay here in Spain without a problem. I’ve used it on the £25 uk tariff and again it’s fine. I’ve also parked it and that works okay.

Hi, I have used this Wireless Audio Transmitter, plugs into HDMI port and earphone socket, then connects to our Bose Soundlink via Bluetooth and gives great sound !
