Who's been to Shetland (1 Viewer)

We are getting married 9th May, and then off to the Shetlands on the 11th in our Hymer, sailing from Aberdeen (only an hour from home). Although I've searched previous postings, I can't find any info. on the island. On the return, we will stop off on Orkney, (weather permitting of course)
Any advice on what to see and where to wild camp would much appreciated.

hope your wedding day is perfect, enjoy your trip, there was omeone on the forum recently offering a free stay at his place right on the beach looks really good but i can't remember who it was perhaps someone else reading this might be able to help,

But Sanday is a bit out of the way, even by Orkney standards, and Liz & Roy may not have time to come over here, particularly if they're just passing through. They probably want a bit more privacy than our driveway, anyway, being on their honeymoon and all

But they are of course very welcome, as I think I have already told them.
