Well as per the title, a while ago there was talk about this becoming official during the winter months at least, did it happen or does Whitby/Scarborough still not really want us.
 
Not seen anything about this recently but I know there are to risky Wild camping sites and a much better Pub Stop in Whitby (The Penny Hedge)
Thanks I saw that one on Search for sites but thought we might be a bit big for their car park, and we want Fish N Chips at lunchtime so couldn't possibly eat in the evening as well;)

I was hoping that might just work off what I had consumed and not lead to even more overeating.

Parking at sandsend is £6 (free in winter), bus or walk to whitby
If you stand at abbey and look towards Robin's hood bay the campsite about 3/4 mile away looked open (cant remember name of it)


I'm sure the site opposite the golf club was open last weekend 🤔
