Which OBD2 reader is a question I see quite often. Now I have multiecuscan and alfaobd for fiat's and vcds for vws skodas. Also have Torque pro for the pocket and Generic stuff. i use USB and Bluetooth dongles. so why the question , what software is required for Peugeot Citroën variants of the ducato or even Ford engine variants(with a Peugeot badge) are there any decent android vw options. What are recommended Ford stuff.
These questions and other recent posts show how useful this kit is, if sorted before your 3000 mile trip abroad as is getting a multimeter even if you don't know how to use it. The use of these tools is not just for fault finding but on euro6 Fiat also use it to control oil quality/ Performance.

I had a 2003 Range Rover, so much electronics packed into the thing I bought a specific to the type Icarsoft OBD reader and saved the £100 cost many times over. It also reads faults on some other makes but unable to clear them. I've got a cheap one for my Renault base moho not sure if it can clear them as I've not had cause to use it yet. Second best tool to carry with you after the multimeter.

Icarsoft OBD readers are fantastic, ours paid for itself on its first outing.

Tried to find a reasonably priced code reader for the 2.2 transit engined 2018ish Citroen Relay but they were way more than MES or AlfaOBD. This means a big bill for the rubbish dpf atomizer setup repair.
