Which indicator bulb for x290 door mirror (1 Viewer)

Hello there !

Both my door indicators are not working and so I removed the bulbs and they disintegrated while getting them out. Not sure if they were already broken or if it was my fault. All I did was pull on the plastic holder

I need to get replacements from my motor factors but I need to be able to identify them correctly. The owners handbook is ambiguous.

There are 2 types of lens, mine has the orange cover integral to the lens so the bulb is clear.

Any help like a link or a reference number as I'm finding all kinds of crap with google.

The type of bulb is a W5W. You can get led versions but they will be bigger and may not fit. I would have a search on line for something which looks similar but I'm not should why yours are cloudy. The ones I've seen have clear glass. They may have gone cloudy due to the failure and were originally clear.

Thank you very much. No idea why they are cloudy either !

I'll stay away from led versions, I'll have a look at the motor factors, fingers crossed.
