Which of the CaMC and CCC offers the better ferry/tunnel discounts?
I am sacking on of them, but unsure which/both I am going to drop.

how do you sack on some thing

he he touche

they both offered 10% from each. Not sure if they have changed but doubtful

I have always found that either clubs tunnel& ferry pricing is not any better than doing it direct and also by doing that if you have problems you don’t need to go third party to change anything should the need occur🤔

From experience booking through either of them means any changes to the booking has to be done through the Agent you booked them through and not direct with the ferry/tunnel.
The reason I say that is we were in Spain in March 2020 on a CCC organised rally and ferry tickets booked through them. When Covid hit the world went berserk with lockdown in Spain, BF cancelling Ferries etc. We could not deal with B

Same with booking through ferry agents (other than specialists for some less travelled routes). My recent experience with AFerry in rebooking a 2 year Covid delayed Stenaline crossing to Ireland, which also involved a change of vehicle, has ensured I’ll only deal direct with the ferry companies in future.

If you book through the Clubs and have a need to make a change they are only contactable weekdays in office hours.
I've always used the Newhaven crossing, booking by phone to DFDS with 20% off all travellers (even if others on the ticket are under 60) which the Clubs don't offer.

BF as CCC had booked the crossing and were uncontactable. CAMC were still there in the office and gave advice even though the booking was not their concern. I spoke to a CAMC travel chap in January and he said that from early January they could see a problem and brought extra people in. CA

Book direct as said . Easy to change , ive had to do it a few times.

We have always used C&MH club for booking ferries and when we did the Hull Zeebrugge route P&O sold a space 7.99m to 11.99m so we would be paying for a lot of space we didn't use, the club sold in 0.5 or possibly 1.0m increments.

Never knew why, but we saved nearly 50% booking this crossing through C&MHC rather than direct 👍

And the crossing has just been reinstated, it went freight only for a couple of years 🤔

Not reinstated, PO sold Pride of York and Pride of Bruges last year. Strange though that websites like Direct Ferries still list the Hull to Zeebrugge route. Only daily service from Hull is Rotterdam route.
