Which battery charger

I am after a small plug in battery charger that will charge gel batteries (not my leisure batteries)
I have seen the cheap ones on eBay for less than a tenner but I am a bit weary of one of these from China
What do you use and what would you recommend

The problem is finding one with a gel setting on that holds the voltage higher during absorption phase to fully charge them.
I bought ours from photonic universe, not particularly small or cheap at £71 but seems to work well so far.
