Speaking as someone from west Wales, it's 'New Quay'. Newquay is in Cornwall.

If you want a quiet field within walking distance to a beach then stay at bucks pool site. No electricity there are toilets at £4 per person per night. This is by Broadhaven South.

Windmill Hill stayed in may.Lovely site.Dint forget to visit freshwater west & Barafundle bay is a must

We stayed here in August for 4 or 5 days after being in St Davids before that. Closest site to the boats that go to Skomer Island (if that's something you want to do).

West Hook Farm Camping

West Hook Farm Campsite is a friendly farm and campsite on the Marloes Peninsula, within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and with glorious views of St Brides Bay.

They had 6kg Calor Gas for sale too!!!! No EHU, and 50p for a quick shower. Stunning cliff walk from the bottom of the field.
Pretty close to the National Trust parking for Marloes Sands. (If you're a NT member, you can park for free (even MH's).

My uncle has a very quiet site about 20.mins from New Quay. Its called Brynawelon.

The Marina in Neyland really nice,, with view of Irish Ferry docking opposite in Pembroke Dock

Pencarnan Farm Camping and Caravan Park. Lovely site with good facilities and beautiful views at the bottom of the site with the sites own private dog friendly beach. St Davids is around 1.5 miles away, walkable if you're fit https://pencarnanfarm.co.uk/

There was a specific forum here on the Gower - might be worth doing a brief search for several options. Really good restaurant on Oxwich Beach called Beach House. And you can park easily.

This is where the riff-raff stay. Much better just down the road, literally on the coastal path, great views out to sea and a few minutes walk to Broad Haven beach - Trefalen Farm site. Book in advance.

That’s harsh Conrad J I have stayed here for the last six years at least twice a year. I do not consider myself to be rid raf. But the site is basic but quiet and free and easy.
