Where is the horn? Ducato 2016 on

Hi all
STOP IT
Just had my MOT and passed, you will fix that won’t you? Anyhow I have no idea where it is. Took the near side headlamp off and couldn’t see it. There was some squeaking from the offside area but cannot see it there either. Any ideas?

Pretty sure the horn can be accessed from the O/S front wheel arch .

On the X290 the standard horn - a Fiamm unit, is located under the offside headlamp.
Remove the headlamp (two T30 bolts and shove the unit towards the centre line of the vehicle to release)
Now by sticking your head right into the space where the headlamp was and looking down and back towards your body, you will see the horn held on by a single 10mm nut.

Thanks for that, I was looking under the NS. I was amazed how easy it was to remove the headlight, never expected that. Thought that there would be an inaccessible nut after removing half the bodywork off

Well it was inaccessible Had to take off the inner wheel arch, or as much as I could as it was held in by another piece of trim and after what seemed an eternity removed the bolt holding the unit to the van. Couldn’t get to the nut on the horn.
Why oh why hide it there!
Camera could fit but not my hands.
It’s burn out.

I know where your coming from Driventemple ! as mine sounds like its off a moped so will be changing it when i find out where i can get a permanant live feed for the relay !

Yes! Me too on my Boxer. Never going to use it again.

I used a piggy back fuse off the fuse box under the bonnet.
