We are at a lovely family run site at Watersmouth, North Devon. Sitting here watching the kids playing with the goats that keep escaping from their field. Lovely to see so many families enjoying the outdoor life!

We were due to be at Pembrey C&MC since last Weds, but we are in London, caring for mum in law who has just had a hip operation at the ripe old age of 93! Her release from hospital was delayed by 6 days and her recovery is slow, so here for the foreseeable. Missing living in the van soooooo much!!

Heading to Peterborough tomorrow morning and then not sure where after, depends how long where in the snow ground…

I won't be too far from you on Saturday night when I'll be staying overnight on the disused airfield at Davidstow on the edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall.

Home. Just back from Norfolk. Pricey at Kelling Heath but the wildlife, views and walks are wonderful. Hardly anyone else there this week. Bootiful. Out every night hoping to spot a nightjar. No luck.

Free pitch for 2 nights Aldershot....sons driveway...

I plan to spend the weekend in a small, quiet orchard in central Portugal surrounded by nature going about its business.

Maybe the water in the (above ground) pool will be clean and warm enough for the first "dip" of the season.

Don't miss the 2 museums there, good bits of history, and the cheese factory virtual tour :giggle:
A virtual tour of a cheese factory? :) I'll wait for a one with a tasting. :)

But there is some history here. I'll be parking on the Rough Tor car park on Sunday where there is a memorial to local men killed during the D Day landings. I'll try and photograph it but when I visited a couple of weeks ago on a recce it was in a fenced off field.

You can buy the different cheeses in the museum shop, and i managed to get to the memorial a couple of years back,
