This has me baffled. Does anyone have any idea what this might be for, please? It's quite large, has a padded, velour back and then stretchy things on it. It's obviously for holding something...but what? Anything I might put in there (although I can't think what that might be!) would slip out after not too long, definitely if we were bouncing up and down on the road. So, what's it for? What would you use it for? Thanks :)

it might be something adults use in the bedroom, to tie each other to during playtime - or so ive been told ..:wasntme:

though it is a similar shape to an ironing board, i saw one once and it has jogged my memory, in fact i actually now feel 'triggered' - i can feel a headache and sweats coming on just thinking about ironing ..

If it’s the same as ours and has a pocket towards the bottom (difficult to tell form your photo), I keep a couple of spare pairs of glasses, and a small fire blanket in our one. It’s behind the shower wall so out of sight (no pun intended) out of mind.

I think it's a safety feature ... When you do a nose dive getting out of bed your head hits the padded bit and the elastic then catches under your chin to stop you falling ... Might end up getting garrotted though! 😆

There's no pocket on mine. Just the stretchy things across it :)

If you can track down a brochure for your model year it might tell you what this extremely useful 😄 thing is for, no doubt extolling it's virtues!!! 😆

Somewhere to store the bed access ladders?

Our rear bed has steps on floor lockers to get into it but also a ladder which has more steps than using the lockers as steps. The ladder is a nuisance for the rear bed as it gets in the way of the loo door. The ladder for the drop down bed is essential.

It’s to remove the hair from your back. Type of threading.

No, it can't be for this purpose. The elastic things are far too light to take the weight of the steps for the capuccine.. And, why would they back it in velour? I'm sure it can't be for that but thank you anyway :)

Given it's proximity to the bed ..... fold clothes over the straps?

That's a possibility; one I hadn't thought of! :) Although I think it would only hold the lightest of clothes.

It's a notice board!
Like you need one of those in a motorhome.

It can't be, it's covered in velour. I wouldn't want to stick pins in it and I don't think PostIt Notes would stick to it. It's a very strange thing

Somewhere to store behind the elastics for all those things you find lose in your MH that you have no idea where they came from, nor what they're for (screws not immune to this analogy either)

That would make sense if it was one of those net storage things but things would just fall out of this. The elastic things aren't all that tight. It's very odd.

Looks more decorative than practical to me?

Could this be the thread that defeats the collective knowledge of the Funster community? I'll be watching with baited breath and yes, (or rather, no) I've got no idea what it is for either.

Are you sure? it looks like a headboard that you put over a window in the overcab bed

It definitely doesn't come off the wall and it has elastic things on it. Also, if that was its purpose, why would it be shaped like that? It's a very odd thing
