What's the Tickover for a Fiat Ducato, Please?

Hi.
So, we've started the engine (first time since before Christmas) and it's running fine but seems to sound a little fast. I can't really remember what it sounded like before. It could just be that the choke is on and it'll settle once the engine's warm but does anyone know what the normal tickover should be, please? I don't want to take him out unless I know everything is good. We've checked the oil, water and tyre pressure, by the way

No actual choke on diesels but the engine management controls the revs, possibly battery a bit low and alternator working hard

Ah, ok. Thank you. We did put a new battery on a couple of weeks ago, as the other one had died, so I guess it could've run down a bit. Thank you again

It normal, once you take it for a run it should settle slower.

I'm so sorry but I don't understand any of this Am I a sinner? Why? And what do you mean by 'working off road'. Why is it funny? I think I must be in a very different dimension to you x

I will hazard a guess....Scotty,will not be beaming you up just yet.
1. Sinner ? .." Joke " Did you miss checking your wheel nuts ? True,you don't have to do it every trip.........But don't forget them..
2. " U " Bolts ( Used to be ? ) on springs. If you went Off road with a loaded vehicle ( As in Wild Camping ) it could put a strain on these bolts and alter the geometry of the suspension causing tyre wear if they were/came lose.
It is NOT a Sin,not to know. I remember..." Cos' i was there ". Checking them all weekly
