What might this be for? Under bonnet

FourWinds Windsport 6.8L V10
American RV, Year 2000 Windsport with 6.8L V10.

Attached to same bracket that holds bonnet hinges. One either side, unscrew cap and looks like tyre valve?

I do have an old air bag assistance suspension but that is controlled from a box on the dash where you inflate or deflate using onboard compressor.

It’s a Schrader valve so is meant to add air pressure to something. As you say air assist suspension sounds like a good call

Might be totally off track here but I once had a car with a pump up valve thingy that pressurised the windscreen washers.:unsure:

Like what he said, I had a car that used compressed air to assist with the washers, especially if it needs to spray a good distance. But then I’ve also got the same thing on the rear of my van and t’other end is on the spare wheel, so easy to check the pressure and inflate as needed.
