For me it’s a bread maker, nothing better than to wake up to the smell of fresh bread, it just kind of makes things a bit more homely ? Oh and Nespresso coffee machine with milk frothed as just so quick and convenient ?

Just as well we are all different, I wouldn't give either of them house/van room. High Carb and Caffeine producers with little else to offer. :coffee:

A 125cc scooter !

Followed by solar panels and extra batteries

Then I reckon the Garmin Camper

Yes the scooter is the best, Ann loves it.
Also my home made ceiling fans are good for hot weather.

Air suspension, Expensive but lets face it standard suspension is basic van rubbish so full air moves the drive quality and handling from the dark ages to the 21st century.
I can buy freshly baked bread pretty much anywhere.

My Samsung Note 9 I wouldn't go anywhere without it, it has a thousand uses that can be utilised on route or at destination. Absolutely love it....

How do you find the Kampa air awning? Mine exploded in France and I mean exploded, it ripped the outer part of the awning on the right hand side long tube. I use a Bravo II electric pump, instructions say pump to a min of 9psi and max of 11psi, due to the heat I went for 9psi, it is pre programmed into the machine so pretty accurate, after explosion I managed top seal off valve to all they others re pumped it up as it had all collapsed and used some old fashioned poles to keep it up for the next 5 weeks, we had an inner tent in the area it was so no big issue. I contacted the dealer to ask why it would fail, he asked some questions about use, I aid it was just the third time I had used it and told him where I was, he asked what psi I had pumped it to and I said 9, he said NO NO NO, it should be 7psi max in the sun and my fault. WTF the instructions CLEARLY say min of 9psi, it doesn't mention reducing for the sun, anyway life is too short so I have just bought a new one, so anyone who has one of these be warned, 7psi MAX in the sun. I found 9psi was min for me as it had to clear the door of the MH, anyway the new awning is the twin pitched new roof so that bit taller. Just trying to help others who may face the same issue, I did advise Dometic who own Kampa to perhaps amend their instructions but wouldn't hold my breath! ;)

How do people get scooters on motorhome with the payload, I have one and have seen loads on motorhomes in France but just can't work out how they do it, any help appreciated ;)

Why not help everybody and complain , or they getaway with it, this is how members can really help

I have one of these electric power 'generators', very useful with all connections you need, worth having a read through to see if it would suit you ;)

I did eventually get through to them and explained about the psi and what dealers had told me, I just checked the instructions online again today and no mention of the psi issue but thought I would help others on here with a heads up. Kampa is now part of Dometic a huge company now that owns so many brands, mine was 3yrs old so out of warranty, a new tube was only £49 but the outer casing had to be sewn up, not difficult if you had access to a machine and used the correct repair tape, but I found it easier just buying a new one (y)

Sometime you can waste your life chasing people and complaining, better to nip things in the bud like I have done with a new motorhome with a few issues, I feel I have done my duty letting others on here know what happened to me, will probably be lost in the fog of posts but nothing more I can do,

E&P levelling system, such calm now when we pitch up whatever the weather, gone is the time lost farting around with leveling ramp and the exchange of sharp word to each other, plus I now don't get rocked out of bed when the missus goes to the loo in the night, ............. bliss. :inlove:

Squeaky sex can be annoying, especially when you come out in the afternoon and everyone on surrounding pitches clap

Unfortunately I have never experienced that

Kampa croc maker, makes brilliant toasties in minutes on the job. All for about £12.

If anyone has a link to what they have as their best buy that would be great, I have seen few things that interest me as possibly have others, would be nice to click and have a nosey at what it is (y) :)

I'd probably go for the SH 125 if I was buying again but the vision is still OK...

I see these are 102kg dry, what weight would the rack be to put one on and any idea of the cost of a rack and any recommendations? Thanks (y)

Ours is made by Watling Towbars and fastens to the chassis on each side so no wobbly tow bar connection. Don't know what it weighs. Armatage trailers also do good racks.
Ours was £850 in 2015

Simple.. Buy a van with enough payload !
The rack weighs 16kg and the scoot is 109kg wet
Even fully freighted* we have a few hundred kg spare

* Inc twin tub, 2 x battery bikes, awning, tank of water, clobber, grub to last 5 days, 4 x 110Ah batteries, 3 x large solar panels and tank of diesel ( plus dog and all the myriad essentials ).. Oh and of course fat bastard me and svelte Woman !

If you already have a tow bar, take a look at the Easylifter Hydratrail...

The dolly wheels take most of the scooter/bike payload, so may be worth considering if you are tight.

You buy yourself a motorhome that can cope with it. Ours is a Hymer A class with a large garage to hide away the scooter. The motorhome, garage and rear axle are all strong enough to take the loads. Suzuki Address weighing in at about 100kg.
