Are talking about the standard Burstner ceiling light. I removed the lower cone on our because of the naff look.
I think your on the right lines Brian as it is a burstner.....??

Definitely a ceiling light ... totally naff ain't it! We've seen them in a MH and confirm it isn't any better 'in the flesh' either!

It's a Foo Foo Ferculater, just the thing if, your Foo Foo, requires a good Ferculation

Not many of them about now, mostly now in the hands of Foo Foo collectors or Museums. I believe the Louvre has one that is unique in the fact it has Siamese conrods made of Lithuanium
One went recently for a huge undisclosed sum, to a Mongolian Yurt maker to the Stars, that one was of course one of the very rare Megenta units.

Hope this helps! :drinks:

Yes defo a Burstner ceiling light, got the same one in mine but haven't managed to bang my head on it yet ;)
So is it their version of a chandelier...? would it, could it be changed for a flatter nicer light..?

it is counted as bad form to remove a design feature like that and could devalue the van by at least 5p. A nice modern LED fitting with colour changing via remote would be a suitable replacement

I picked up a very tidy adria caravan years ago for half the asking price. nobody else wanted it as it had tasseled lampshades and thick net curtains making it look like an old tarts boudoir. I simply ripped out the awful curtains and fitted more modern lights. Doubled my money in a few days when I sold it on
