Hola funsters; we have a B544 motorhome and I wonder if anyone can tell me what these knobs are for in the pictures? it can't be for a ladder as the table would be in the way.

thanks!

Thanks both!! Yes the table is in the way, and when we bought it the man said it didn’t come with a ladder ( which I must confess I thought odd even though the bed is low). So I assume we should have a short ladder too?

The 2 Hymer A Class vans we have had from new, never had a ladder.

This seems to show a ladder

this is a lovely old classic Hymer like our old one :giggle: and that had a ladder.

But this new one has the handle as in the pic, but no ladder, and a table in the way if you did try to use one

Ho hum. Thanks everyone for their help!!

We thought they were for our handcuffs :)

My 2015 B678 had a hook over ladder from new and those knobs are definitely to stop it sliding sideways. There are 3 knobs on each side of mine and the ones on the left are over the table, whereas the ones on the right are usable with the ladder, I always assumed that this was to enable the same bed to be used whether the table is on the left or the right side.

The table on the B544 is in the way wherever the ladder would be situated - unless it was placed ON the table.......

No ladder when I bought mine so I asked Becks who supplied one nc.
If location a problem it depends which table , mine is the round extending which in its smallest format allows room at the left hand side to use ladder.

Ladder included in my Hymer, although I didn’t spot it at first as it is so well integrated into the wood on the side of the pull-down bed.
