What is the best to seal roof vent these days? Sikaflex 512?

My sealant around the roof vent is old, brittle and breaking off.
I usually use Sikaflex 512 but not sure if there is something better these days. Any suggestions?

I would use Sikaflex 512, you need to remove all the old sealant though first.

We had to re-seal a roof light, i figured, going round the edge with Sikaflex would be a bit of a bodge, so I removed the roof light, cleaned off the old sealant (about 15 years old) and re-bedded on black w4 butyle. This comes on a roll and is easy to apply. Did it 4 years ago and all is well.

I use Dicor self levelling sealant.
