Here's a good one for u folks .
If I want to heat the water but also want the heating on looks like we have to have the heat on full aswell because there's no separate +- for each. Am I wrong here .

Have you tried touching the two symbols to see if they are touch switches

The +/- will be for the space heater only.
There is no +/- for the water heater - you just have a pre set choice of electric, gas or both.
(There are usually two power settings when using the electric)

Ok ..but 90% of our time will be wild camping so all we see is the single gas symbol...so on gas only does the water just keep boiling and boiling..is there a thermostat fir the water somewhere?

Yes. It will cut out when the water reaches 70(?) degs. then cut in again automatically to keep it at that temp.

Also, below each flame symbol on the left is a vertical I which may also be the touch switch....can't see any other reason for it being there.

Pappajohn - the vertical below the flame symbols on the left go red if there's a fault. They aren't switches.
