Finally arrived in Cervia Italy for ironman next week.
Left Thursday night 5 hours to the ferry
Crossed Friday morning and arrived in Luxembourg for a night out, great city..free transport.
Left Luxembourg and headed for lake Como via the Gotthard Pass as I don't like the dark in the tunnel.
Lucky escape Jim and Sian were only an hour away and Nikki was keen to go across and neck a few drinks with Sian..this could have been dangerous only 1 week before a race.
Stayed in a secluded aire in Lucino for the night, hit the Irish bar for tea and an early get up this morning saw us arrive on site in the glorious sunshine and 28dg by lunch..

Minus, 1 fridge vent that departed as it preferred Switzerland to Italy.
1 wardrobe door handle now repaired

Total miles 1150
Total hours driving 25
Total underpants changed 2
Total showers 1 each
Total jam topped biscuits eaten 19

Fuel in France is cheaper by a country mile
France 1.48 pounds
Luxembourg 1.63
Swiss 2.02
Italy 1.76
