Hi All,

Planning two weeks on the west coast, any tips for places to stay and visit most welcome.

I’d recommend you go via Dumfries and Galloway if you’ve got the time. It’s a lovely part of the world as is Ayshire, both will take you up the west coast eventually!

Fish and chips at Ullapool and Malliag, if you get up to Oban, then you should spend a night or 2 on Mull, Ian has a lovely campsite just north of Oban, I am sure he will tell you if he has room.

On a good day you can see Cumbria, Isle of Man and Ireland from one spot

Come up to the Oban area. Forestry letting overnight in area. Lots of nice things to see and do. Hairy cows galore. if the weather is kind you will love it if not you will like it a lot

We'll second the seafood shack! Never had a seafood experience like that before or since!
